The glamour dogs of the dachshund group are without question English Creams. They were not introduced into this country until 1987 and are still moderately rare.
We have bred dachshunds exclusively for 32 years and though we are relatively new to creams we have carefully selected our canine staff and intend to offer only the best...sound, well-adjusted puppies. We are here to help owners choose the right puppy and will discourage folks that we feel are not well-suited to have a dog companion. Some people REALLY don't need a dog. We speak primarily of people who work very long hours, do not have time or energy for a dog companion and are out of town a lot.
The cream gene is a recessive one, so it's a difficult color to find. We will never have very many cream puppies so you may be on a waiting list for a while.
Our puppies must be at least 8 weeks old before they leave us. They must be 10 weeks old to fly. We prefer that buyers come to our kennel to pick up their puppy. The purchase of a cream dachshund involves a major outlay of money and we want the transition from kennel to new home to be as free from stress as possible. We want to place your puppy directly into your arms. We have never had a problem in air shipping, but the warm, personal bonding can begin right here.
